Wozu brauchen wir die Zeit? Damals, in den alten Tagen, brauchten wir sie nicht.
Wir richteten uns nach Anfang und Untergang der Sonne. Wir mussten uns niemals beeilen.
Wir brauchten nie auf die Uhr zu blicken. Wir mussten nicht zu einer bestimmten Zeit bei der Arbeit sein.
Wir taten, was getan werden musste, wenn uns danach war.
Aber wir achteten darauf, es zu tun, bevor der Tag zu Ende ging.
Wir hatten mehr Zeit, denn der Tag war noch ganz.

For what do we need the time? At that time, during the old days, we did not need them.

Nous nous adaptions après le début et déclin du soleil. Nous ne devions jamais nous dépêcher.
Nous n'avions jamais besoin de regarder l'heure. Nous ne devions pas être à un temps certain au travail.
Nous faisions qui devait être fait, si à nous était après cela.
Mais nous faisions attention le faire avant que le jour prenne fin.
Nous avions plus de temps, car le jour était encore tout.
